Message from Sir Bernard Freyberg, Governor-General of New Zealand, forwarded by Major A Molineaux (New Zealand Military Headquarters, Halifax House, 51-55 The Strand, London) to WSC stating that Randolph Churchill had just left Government House in New Zealand. Freyberg adds that Randolph had been a charming guest, was happy and well and that his meetings had been very good. Freyberg ends by assuring WSC that they had loved having him as a guest, and sends his kindest regards. Typescript, annotated "Mrs Churchill to see. Seen".
