Describing it as a masterly document, which "proved" that Lord Derby and Sir Samuel Hoare (later Lord Templewood) had suppressed evidence of Manchester Chamber of Commerce to the Joint Select Committee on Indian Constitutional Reform. Stating that he felt that the Report of the Privileges Committee should be used to discount the majority of the findings of the Joint Committee. Suggesting that John Gretton raise the matter in the House of Commons to keep the matter on a "public, and not a personal plane".
